Llewellyn (Lou) is one of the most exceptional people I’ve ever had the privilege to work alongside. When I first joined Generation USA as an Instructional Coach in 2019, I didn’t work very closely with Lou (another IC had that honor) but quickly gathered that he was an exemplary Instructor and beloved by folks across the organization.

Then in 2020, Lou was promoted from Instructor to Instructional Coach and became my teammate. I was thrilled to discover that despite his talent, he’s both incredibly humble and a lifelong learner who’s always looking for ways to keep growing. Flashforward to 2021, I became Lou’s direct supervisor and in 2022 he was promoted again to Instructional Support Lead – an outcome of his going above and beyond in the IC role, especially during a time when our team was short-staffed due to org-wide layoffs.

He continues to be a gifted teacher and coach but has expanded his skillset to also include Learning Management Systems (LMS) and new hire onboarding.
